We are reaching out to all parents in our community to SHARE PHOTOS of their children with hearing loss doing everyday activities. These could be photos of your child playing at home, exploring nature, reading a book, playing a sport, doing homework, helping with household chores, or anything else that represents their daily life and achievements. We would welcome images of children communicating in Auslan and children with additional needs. High quality images from your smartphone will be great.
We understand that privacy is a concern, so it is essential that photos do not contain identifying details such as names, school uniforms or addresses. Also, avoid taking any pictures in front of your house.
By sharing your photos, you will be helping to create a positive and empowering resource for families whose children have hearing loss. Our website will showcase how much children with hearing loss can achieve and inspire others who are following in your footsteps.
Please email your photos to info@aussiedeafkids.org.au along with your signed consent form.
Thank you for considering this request. We can't wait to see your photos!
