Stephen Tang is a young man with a moderate to severe hearing loss and has been wearing hearing aids all his life. He is a compelling advocate for children and young people with hearing loss. He completed his HSC in 2018 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Macquarie University. He plans to become an audiologist.
Flora Chan is on the Board of Aussie Deaf Kids. She is the mum of 3 young boys and the youngest has a sensorineural hearing loss. Professionally Flora is a public health practitioner, health coach and mental health first aid instructor.
