How listener friendly is your classroom?
A good listening environment is crucial to successful classroom learning. Many factors affect the listening environment. Classrooms are typically noisy and reverberant, making listening difficult for pupils with normal hearing as well as those with hearing loss.

Listening fatigue at school
Students with hearing loss exert more listening effort than their hearing peers when processing speech. Lip reading, interpreting expressions and filling in the gaps in conversations involve active concentration, often for extended periods, and this can cause significant fatigue.
