If you are looking to get involved with a sport as a player, coach or official there are a number of options available to suit your needs.

Athletes can choose to participate in deaf specific sporting competitions or mainstream sporting competitions.

Getting started is easier than you think. There are opportunities for all age groups and skill and fitness levels.

The best way to get started in deaf specific sporting competitions is to contact the National Deaf Sporting Organisation for your chosen sport. They will be able to provide you with the details of the nearest local club or competition in your area.

If you are interested in participating in mainstream sporting competitions then the best way to get started is to contact the National Sporting Organisation for your chosen sport.

Website and contact information for National Deaf Sporting Organisations and National Sporting Organisations is available on the Deaf Sports Australia website.

If you are unable to find the information you need to get started or require any other assistance please contact Deaf Sports Australia.
