10 March, 2017 Ann Porter Parents

You are invited to take part in the Seeds of Language Development project that investigates infants’ language development and hearing impairment. The study is funded by the HEARing Cooperative Research Centre and led by Professor Denis Burnham and Dr Marina Kalashnikova. This is a longitudinal study over a period of 2 ½ years that will include infants from 5 – 7 months to 3 years of age. This project is being run at the MARCS BabyLab at Western Sydney University.

The researchers would like to know as much information from babies with different needs as possible. So the babies can be both bilateral and unilateral ranging from mild to profound loss; not fitted or fitted with hearing aid(s) and cochlear implants or bimodal fitted.
