ANZPODSource: Aussie Deaf Kids
ANZPOD was formed after the 5th Australasian Newborn Hearing Screening Conference held in Adelaide in May 2009.
The initial aim of the group was to ensure parents of deaf and hearing impaired children had a voice in the development of the National Standards for Newborn Hearing Screening. The members of ANZPOD have now produced a number of documents to provide parents with a voice when policy decision are made that will affect their child and family. Members of the group are all parents of deaf and hearing impaired children and represent most of the major parent organisations within Australia.
